Meet The Team

Founder of Opusfm, Jonathan gained extensive experience in the construction and FM sectors before launching Opusfm. With a clear vision to create an FM company with a reputation for quality workmanship, service excellence and safety.

Apprenticeship trained, Jonathan believes in upskilling his team and promoting from within, forging a loyal and talented team. He applies a great deal of emphasis to motivating his workforce, understanding the direct link between happy staff and happy clients.

Determined to expand Opusfm’s service offering Jonathan is also keen to embrace new technologies within the business and invest in more sustainable practices where possible. Part of his journey as a business owner is focussed on personal development to support the growth of the business.

In his spare time, Jonathan likes to use some of his professional knowledge to develop properties, as well as enjoying time with his family and dogs.

With over 20 years’ experience in the FM sector, Simon brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our Maintenance Team. His background has helped to grow his department with plans to expand the services and coverage offered even further.

Simon is reliable and methodical, applying his problem-solving skills wherever needed, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. His friendly personality means he is remembered and appreciated by our clients, delivering exceptional customer service to everyone he meets.

With experience spanning estimating to engineering, Simon understands everything asked of his team and can support them in all areas of their role. The fast-paced and varied workload are what Simon loves most about his position at Opusfm.

Music mad, if Simon isn’t listening to music, he’s attending gigs or practising his piano playing.

Having been part of the Opusfm team since 2020, Scott has worked his way up from being a field-based supervisor, then maintenance manager, and he is now our very proficient contracts manager.

Tasked with securing new contracts for the business and developing existing relationships, Scott’s skills, and the experience he has gained at Opusfm, mean he is the perfect person for this role.

Securing and managing contracts from £500,000 to multi-million-pound projects, Scott works across all departments, forging close relationships with our department managers to ensure successful contract delivery.

With two teenage children, his free time is filled with golf, football, rugby and family holidays.

Sophie’s previous FM experience made her the perfect choice for this role. A great communicator with an eye for process efficiency and improvement, Sophie organises effective work schedules for our engineers, helping everything run like clockwork.

Her role impacts many departments at Opusfm and her passion for procedures is key to our continued compliance for many of our accreditations and certifications. Her input is appreciated by her colleagues and our clients.

As a natural problem solver, Sophie enjoys supporting colleagues in all departments, helping to resolve issues and improve performance where she can. She is known for her friendly personality and positive input.

Not afraid to get her hands dirty, Sophie can be found working on her home renovation project, gardening or baking in her free time.

Since joining the Opusfm team in 2021, Laura has progressed from our Operations Team to become our Procurement Manager. Her experience in the FM sector and prior customer focussed roles brings the perfect skillset to her position.

Laura has exciting plans to develop the Procurement Department, with a view to increasing the Opusfm service offering. Her natural organisational skills, attention to detail and analytical approach ensure she excels in every aspect of her role.

Laura enjoys building relationships with our suppliers, ensuring we procure the very best products and services for the needs of the business and our clients. Her strong communication skills keep the Procurement Department operating efficiently and effectively.

As an avid globe-trotter, Laura loves to apply her organisational skills to planning trips to exciting parts of the world.

Adam joined Opusfm in 2020 bringing over 20 years’ experience in engineering and electrical maintenance. Adam has progressed from being an Engineer with Opusfm, to a Lead Engineer and now a Department Supervisor.

With such a varied workload, he loves that every day presents a new challenge, drawing on his extensive experience to manage every project to a successful outcome. Adam is keen to work with the team to develop new and improved department processes that will enhance the service provided to clients.

Adam’s role is crucial for successful communication between our engineers and our clients, keeping everyone informed and schedules on track. His ability to remain calm under pressure and to approach situations logically make him the best person for this position.

Known to describe his home as zoo, Adam is an animal lover as well as a football fanatic!

Focussed on delivering high standards of workmanship, utilising his own varied skillset and that of his team, James aims to deliver a quality service to every client he supports. Able to adapt and respond to clients’ needs ensuring rapid response times and effective solutions, James enjoys having to think on his feet and get the best out of his team.

Having been in the FM sector for over 10 years, working across a wide client portfolio and range of sites, his experience is valued by his colleagues and our clients. Bringing strong problem-solving skills and an excellent work ethic to our team of supervisors, James is keen to develop his role and his department.

Grateful for the support received from the Management Team and his team of engineers, James takes pride in every project, regardless of its size.

James enjoys sport, whether he’s playing it or watching it, as well as travelling, cooking, gardening and watching live bands and comedians.
